Aonagi’s “Aoi (青)” means the blue of sea and wind of the Seto Inland Sea that spreads out of the window. The color that changes from time to time. “Nagi (凪)” expresses the hotel is surrounded by calm and quietness of everyday life.
The building is designed by Tadao Ando, who suggested minimalism and has a special presence with unnecessary things removed in space.
Formerly partly open as a museum, this special building features two pools, a hot spring jacuzzi, a sauna and a lounge for only seven rooms. In addition, various arts are exhibited in the museum, so please go for a walk.
The Seto Inland Sea, the greenery of the trees, and the sound of the wind that you can see and listen from the window, and enjoy a quiet time in a calm space away from the hustle and bustle.
